More than 50 leading businesses and organisations have contributed to the development of a £1 billion AI Sector Deal to put the nation at the forefront of the artificial intelligence industry, featuring almost £300 million of new private sector investment. This is the latest in a series of sector deals being created as part of the Government’s Industrial Strategy that are designed to create significant opportunities to boost productivity, employment, innovation and skills. Other sector deals already in place are Automotive, Creative Industries and Life Sciences.
