SCTP have organised a one-day Mental Health Wellbeing Training session for members, delivered by Possability People on Tuesday 12 June from 09.30 – 16.30 in Brighton. The workshop will give SCTP members’ staff some basic tools for dealing with learners or clients who present with mental health issues, providing understanding and knowledge of the challenges faced by people with mental health issues.

The course will cover general awareness and understanding about mental health and mental wellbeing, identifying where people may need additional support, language, attitudes, myths and assumptions, coping strategies and taking care of yourself when supporting people with mental health issues.
