AELP Calls for Benefit Rules Change to Ease Access to Training

AELP has published a short briefing note providing an insight into how current benefit rules act as a barrier to the take-up apprenticeships and traineeships.  Earlier in the summer Lucy Allan MP who sits on the Commons Education Select Committee raised the issue of the child benefit rules deterring young people taking up apprenticeship opportunities and the AELP note calls for the rules to be amended.  The note can be read here.
