SCTP Holds First Higher Levels Group Meeting

by | 0 comments

Yesterday, SCTP held the first meeting for its members of its Higher Levels Group. The aim of the group is to bring providers of all types together who share a common interest in delivering Level 4 provision and above. The meeting was held at the University of Brighton’s Exion site in Hollingbury, Brighton and was attended by 9 people. It was good to see a debate involving the perspective of universities, ITPs and the Sussex Learning Network and unsurprisingly focussing on Higher & Degree Apprenticeships. Subjects covered ranged from funding band review, non-levy procurement, apprenticeship reform & development, employer understanding and perception, T levels, assessor and tutor shortages, the differing cultures in different types of providers and the opportunities to collaborate. The next meeting will take place during the spring term and will be at the same venue. Date and time to be confirmed.
