SCTP members HIT Training and Learning Curve as well as AELP have expressed concerns over plans announced by the ESFA at this week’s AELP Conference to place a financial cap in terms of how much a provider will be able to earn in the system. In a system allegedly driven by employer choice and demand, placing capacity limits on providers would restrict provider responsiveness although many acknowledge that some form of safeguards are needed in the light of recent provider failures.
