SCTP’s Team

SCTP is run by a Board of directors elected from the membership led by a Chair, supported by an Executive Director and a Marketing & Office Executive.

Vanessa Potter, Executive Director, responsible for strategic and operational delivery in line with the business plan.

Vanessa has extensive skills sector experience, at both operational and strategic level. She has served two terms as an elected SCTP Director and has worked in management roles within SCTP member organisations for over 10 years. Vanessa has overseen a broad range of government funded contracts including ESF, ESFA and DWP provision and has sat on a number of skills sector strategy groups, helping evolve the local skills landscape. She is passionate about the personal, social and economic value of education, and committed to supporting SCTP’s membership in her role as Executive Director. 

Jasmine Griffiths, Marketing and Office Coordinator, supporting the Executive Director with operational delivery, focusing on communications, administration and event organisation. 

Jasmine joined SCTP in November 2022. She has a background in marketing and is able to transfer skills from previous marketing roles to supporting the membership and the Executive Director. She is also currently undertaking an MA in Marketing & Consumer Psychology and will also bring her learning from that to the role.
