All businesses can now view available apprenticeship levy transfer opportunities on the Find a business to fund apprenticeship training, page. This new service supports businesses to access apprenticeship funding from levy-paying employers who are able to create a pledge of up to 25% of their annual levy funds to support apprenticeships in other businesses. The ESFA reports that employers have already pledged over £1 million for the 2021 to 2022 financial year, with many more expected to pledge in the coming weeks. Employers will need an apprenticeship service account to apply for a transfer to fund an apprenticeship for their business.
