The ESFA has published version 2 of the apprenticeships technical funding guide from August 2020. This explains how funding will work for apprenticeship standards starting on or after 1 August 2020, including how they will calculate provider payments. The update from the previous guidance clarifies how they fund apprentices that have been made redundant after completing 75% of their apprenticeship, following a change to the apprenticeship funding rules applying from 15 October 2020.
