Apprenticeships in Sussex in the Community – can you help?

by | 0 comments

As you will be aware SCTP secured funding from the National Collaborative Outreach Programme (NCOP) which aims to increase participation in the higher education of disadvantaged groups across East and West Sussex and Brighton & Hove.  The Apprenticeships in Sussex (AIS) service has been delivering apprenticeship and traineeship awareness sessions in schools across Sussex.

As part of this work, AIS is able to deliver free sessions in communities across East and West Sussex and Brighton & Hove to challenge perceptions that apprenticeships are not for everyone and raise awareness about the range of apprenticeships

Ideally, we want to work collaboratively with existing community groups/settings and co-design a session that meets the needs of the particular group.  We would take apprentices from our Apprenticeship Ambassador network who are able to provide real-life testimonies about their story and experiences in apprenticeships post-16 and beyond.

If you know of groups or organisations who you think might benefit from this type of session, please let us know by contacting trish.varndall@apprenticeships-in-sussex.com.
