The Education Secretary Gavin Williamson, has issued directions to Ofqual about calculating students’ exam results during COVID-19 for vocational and technical qualifications, and other general qualifications. Following previous guidance about gradings for GCSEs and A levels, Ofqual have followed up the Education Secretary’s announcement with some guidance relating to the assessment and awarding of vocational and technical qualifications in the coming weeks and months.
