The Careers and Enterprise Company has reported on the state of play in careers and enterprise provision in secondary schools in England and in particular how many had met the recognised ‘Gatsby’ benchmarks of good careers practice finding some improvement but with schools on average meeting fewer than two of the eight benchmarks so far.
The Careers and Enterprise Company along with the CBI has also published a new ‘Who, What, How’ guide to help businesses engage effectively with schools highlighting a number of different activities and benefits.
