T Level students will no longer be required to achieve a grade 4 in English and Maths or Level 2 Functional skills in order to pass their T Level, to bring them into line with other Level 3 qualifications such as A levels. Also announced were plans allowing an extra year before the Level 3 reform timetable is implemented. This is to allow the government to continue to support the growth of T Levels and give more notice to providers, awarding organisations, employers, students and parents so that they can prepare for the changes.
