Current Degree Apprenticeship Providers to Receive Part of £8m Expansion Fund

by | 0 comments

The Office for Students has announced that more than 100 universities and colleges will receive part of an £8 million fund to help accelerate the growth of degree apprenticeships. The funding will only go to those higher education providers that already deliver the programmes, rather than those that are struggling to kickstart their degree apprenticeships offer. The funding can be used to develop new degree apprenticeships beyond their current offer, refresh their existing programmes to “better meet the needs of the labour market” and upskill staff in delivering the courses.
