The ESFA has advised that the Register of Training Organisations (ROTO) which has been closed since 2016, will be formally decommissioned on the 31 July 2021 and ESFA funding rules will be updated to reflect this. The current funding rules state that subcontractors who wish to deliver over £100,000 in the AEB or ESF market have to be listed on ROTO and this requirement will remain until its formal closure. The ESFA has said that it will announce more information about oversight of subcontractors this Autumn.
