The government is looking for brokers to boost the number of young and disadvantaged apprentices in small and medium employers in the north. A tender worth £2.25 million in total has been launched by the Department for Education to find intermediaries who can come up with “new and innovative ways” of engaging the SME market which is “beyond normal contractor activity”.
