Brighton and Hove City Council are asking for comments on the following plan below. Becky Pratley of Brighton and Hove City Council says “Following the success of the Cost of Living summit in January and ongoing work across the city, our Draft Brighton & Hove Cost of Living plan (brighton-hove.gov.uk) is currently out for consultation until 31st October. Our goal is for Brighton and Hove to be a fairer and more inclusive city where everyone can thrive. We will do everything in our power to reduce inequality and tackle poverty, exacerbated by the current cost of living crisis. The draft plan sets out our initial approach. It is a call to action to all our partners to work with us, to bring their ideas, expertise and combine resources to collectively meet the challenge. We are keen to hear about your experiences and ideas to help shape our Brighton & Hove Cost of Living Plan.”
