DWP’s DPS for the Provision of Work Focused Activities

by | 0 comments

The DWP’s Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) is open for providers to register until 31 October 2020. The original DPS specification stated that the opportunity would end on 31 July 2020, but this has now been extended to 31 October 2020. The DPS is an electronic process for setting up and maintaining a list of suppliers from whom provision can be procured locally as and when the need arises. It will be used to procure Work Focused Activities in the Jobcentre Plus Districts. The DPS comprises an “Employability Journey” which details a number of Service Categories along with supporting narratives to explain what type of provision the DWP may be buying. The categories are engagement, moving towards work, support for the hardest to help with complex & multiple barriers, supporting hardest to help into work, addressing barriers, skills for work, getting jobs and keeping jobs. Full details can be read here and tenders are to be submitted through BravoSolution.
