The Education Committee held two public evidence sessions with Ofsted and the DfE. On 27 April, the Committee held an accountability session with Ofsted’s Chief Inspector Amanda Spielman, you can watch a recording of the online meeting here. On 29 April they held a hearing with the Secretary of State for Education Gavin Williamson, you can watch the online meeting recording here. The Education Secretary was questioned about the DfE’s response to the Cabinet Office guidance and provider support. He was also questioned about T Levels and mentioned the upcoming white paper and FE Bill. Further information on his responses can be read here.
