The government has released information to help employers recruit EU citizens for seasonal work during the transition period. The information states that EU citizens can continue to come to the UK to do seasonal work on farms and in food businesses in 2020. There will be no change to current arrangements for EU citizens in 2020. The EU Settlement Scheme is open for applications now, and the new immigration system will take effect from 1 January 2021.
