The DfE has launched the ESFA European Social Fund (ESF) Provider Relief Scheme in response to the COVID-19 outbreak. The purpose of the scheme is to retain capacity within organisations who are currently contracted to deliver ESFA ESF programmes and to support economic recovery post-outbreak. This scheme will provide relief payments to ESF providers in the form of repayable advances ahead of actual delivery, to support the cashflow of providers with a demonstrated financial need.
