The ESFA has updated its operational guidance on the oversight of independent training providers (ITPs). The document explains how the ESFA will take action to mitigate the potential risk of ITP failure and includes key changes that have been introduced since the publication of guidance in April 2019. The update reflects changes to RoATP, subcontracting, funding high risk organisations, establishment of a Large Provider Team and a new section on ESFA approach to investigations. It plans to publish the College Oversight guidance in June 2021.
