The Education and Training Foundation (ETF) is accepting applications for the 2021/22 Practioner Research Programme. This programme ‘provides successful applicants with the research training and support they need to conduct research in the context of their practice and to evaluate the impact of their research. This includes the identification of any improvements in educational practice or student achievement arising from or attributable to their research.’  Applications are also open for the 8th phase of the ETF’s Outstanding Teaching, Learning and Assessment (OTLA) Programme, which will focus this year on English, English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) and Essential Digital Skills. This programme ’empowers practitioners to undertake action research projects in order to look at effective practice that is helpful in meeting the challenges they face, and to share the outcomes of their activity with the sector to improve professional practice and outcomes for learners’.
