The ESFA has shared information regarding key messages and communications regarding vaccinations and testing for staff and students in FE settings. The government announced on 24 September that all 16 and 17-year-olds can now book their first COVID-19 vaccination appointment online or call 119 free of charge. The ESFA is asking providers to share this information with eligible students. The Department of Health and Social Care has been tweeting on the announcement if you wish to share.
A targeted FE/HE campaign has been running since 8 September to encourage students to take part in rapid COVID-19 testing and to get fully vaccinated where eligible. The wider government campaign targeting 16 and 17 year olds continues, with the@NHSuk twitter channel sharing messages about vaccinations which can be shared.
