The DfE has announced a fifth year of funding for the Opportunity Areas programme. An additional £18 million will now be invested in 12 Opportunity Areas across the country, which includes Hastings in East Sussex. A key priority for year five of the Opportunity Areas will be ensuring the changes that have been put in place are sustainable, with a continued focus on the most impactful elements of the programme. The Opportunity Areas delivery plans are all available here and the DfE has just published a careers insight guide with case study examples from a few of the areas.
