The Government has responded to the joint report of the Education and Health and Social Care Committees on ‘Transforming children and young people’s mental health provision: a green paper’ which challenged the Government saying that it lacked ambition to tackle the issues at source. This view was rejected but he Government who said that their programme was hugely ambitious.
