The Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education (IfATE) has announced a new quality mark which aims to show employers and learners which qualifications offer great training for highly skilled jobs. It has published guidance for awarding bodies for how to submit level 4 or 5 qualifications for approval by the IfATE. The approvals process will include a 4 week public consultation. The applications open on 23 September and close on 16 December. The first qualifications will be available from September 2022. The first approvals wave will focus on digital qualifications and will be followed by further routes in the future.
