IFS Report Highlights the Scale of Education Budget Cuts

The Institute for Fiscal Studies has highlighted significant budget cuts over the last decade to both 16-18 and adult provision in its new report on education spending in England, amounting to an 8% fall in spending per 16-18 student and a 45% real terms fall in the total adult education and apprenticeship budget since 2010/11. It states that there have been 27 major reforms to further education introduced in the last ten years.
