by | 0 comments

The Department for Education has released revised projections using corrected data published by the Office for National Statistics (ONS). Revised employment and skills projections for the Skills Imperative 2035 from the National Foundation for Educational Research (NFER) has information about the impact of the corrected data. The projections consider the future size and shape of the labour market nationally and across local areas by:

  • industry
  • occupation
  • qualification level
  • gender
  • employment status

They form part of The Skills Imperative 2035 research programme, led by NFER and funded by the Nuffield Foundation. The Department for Education (DfE) funded the subregional analyses as an extension to this project. The projections are not precise predictions but represent the most likely trajectory of labour market change. Click here for more.
