The DfE has announced that it is changing the law around funding for apprentices who are made redundant. Currently the ESFA funds apprentices to complete if they are made redundant within six months of their final day of training. This support will be extended to also fund to completion for apprentices who are at least 75% of their way through their apprenticeship at the point of redundancy.
