The Department of Health and Social Care has published a list of essential workers prioritised for PCR testing for COVID-19. The list includes support and teaching staff and specialist education professionals.
Following calls for education staff to be priortised for COVID-19 vaccines, the Joint Committee on Vaccines and Immunisations has said that vaccinations will not be targetting occupational groups. The vaccine will continue to be administered on an age-based approach. Further information can be read here.
