Minister of Education Robert Halton has said that ministers are not discussing controls on apprenticeship levy spending amid re-emerging budget concerns. Halfon deflected warning signs of budget overspend for apprenticeship levy and insisted the Department of Education doesn’t know the direction the budget will take each year but instead is focussed on “as many starts as possible”.
