by | 0 comments

The Education Secretary has announced that vulnerable and disadvantaged young people across the country will receive free laptops and tablets to help make remote education accessible for students staying at home during the COVID-19 outbreak. They also plan to provide 4G routers to make sure disadvantaged secondary school pupils and care leavers can access the internet if their families do not already have mobile or broadband internet in the household. There will also be some new video resources available for schools and parents. The guidance relating to this announcement is available here.
