New National Lockdown Announced – Remote Education Until February

by | 0 comments

The government announced a new national lockdown on 4 January. The guidance announced that Colleges, primary and secondary schools will remain open for vulnerable children and the children of critical workers only. All other children will learn remotely until February half term. Most university students will start their term online, as facilitated by their university until at least Mid-February, except those studying in areas such as medicine and education. They stated that public exams and vocational assessments scheduled to take place in January will go ahead as planned, but not all exams in the summer will go ahead. We are awaiting updated guidance for FE providers and will circulate once it has been updated.
