Health Education England (HEE) has launched a tender for a NHS specific Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner apprenticeship standard and is seeking bids from national and regional providers to deliver a bespoke programme that will cover the wide range of administration and patient facing roles in the NHS from 1 August 2020. The tender states that with the removal of the Level 2 Business Administration apprenticeship framework from 31 July, and no direct apprenticeship standard replacement, the NHS wants to ensure it can still offer a Level 2 programme to attract new talent and offer existing staff opportunities.
