These faster indicators are created using rapid response surveys, novel data sources and experimental methods. They have also published ‘Coronavirus and the economic impacts on the UK’ bulletin, which is based on responses from a new voluntary fortnightly business survey detailing how their turnover, workforce prices, trade and business resilience have been affected by COVID-19.
