The Department for Education (DfE) has announced that it is considering its approach to procuring services to strengthen the Supported Internships Programme. Supported Internships are a work-based study programme for 16 to 24 year olds with SEND who have an education health and care (EHC) plan, who want to move into employment and who need extra support to do so. It has published a Prior Information Notice (PIN), which contains details about a pre-market engagement event on Wednesday 9 March.
