The ESFA previously announced that they will not publish any institution-level qualification achievement rates (QARs) in the national achievement rate tables for the 2019 to 2020 academic year in response to COVID-19. They have now announced that they are making a change to the business rules to help remove pressure from providers. This year they will not publish an in-year QAR following the R10 ILR submission in June, so providers will not have to check their in-year QAR data. They have said that they are considering whether they calculate the in-year R12 and the final QAR and will announce their decision as soon as they can.
