A new report entitled ‘Working Late’, has been published by Legal & General Retail Retirement and the Centre for Economics and Business Research. The report looks at the experiences of the over 50s, raises concerns about the impact of redundancy and employment-related changes on the age diversity of the UK workforce. The report highlights that more than one in 10 (11%) over 50s have disappeared from the workforce in the past five years as a result of being made redundant.
