A new report ‘A U-shaped crisis’ published by the Resolution Foundation examines the economic impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic on older workers, and how periods of unemployment can affect their prospects upon returning to work. This article highlights that the report shows that the employment for over-50s is falling at twice the rate of other age groups.
