New research from the Sutton Trust examines the impact of coronavirus on apprenticeships and finds that 1 in 13 apprentices have been made redundant. It found that 39% of apprenticeships were continuing as normal in April, that 44% of apprentices had been furloughed or made redundant and that 37% of employers reported that some apprentices were unable to work remotely.
