Research Shows Low Apprenticeship Awareness from Parents and Students

New research, by ABM UK, a leading facilities management solutions provider, calls for more support to be given to parents to equip them with the right knowledge and information that can be passed onto their children. It found that more than a third (36%) of parents and over two-thirds of young people 68% didn’t know what an apprenticeship was, signalling a wider awareness problem which they say, is impacting career choices and creating a skills gaps in key industries.
