Plumpton College is collaborating with SCTP on delivering apprenticeship standards for the Outstanding Teaching, Learning and Assessment programme (OTLA 4) and ensuring that the good practice from the project is shared among all SCTP members. The research project will focus on how employers can teach technical numeracy, literacy and ICT skills as a vital component for apprenticeship programmes. The project is embarking on creating and disseminating on-programme materials that will aid learning and support employers, teachers and apprentices. Plumpton College will speak about the project at the next members’ meeting on 22 November at Haywards Heath Town Hall. The session will provide access to the free materials and demonstrate how they can be embedded into organisations that run apprenticeship programmes.
