The South East LEP will be launching its COVID-19 Recovery Funds on 6 January focusing on business support and skills. The £2.4 million COVID-19 Business Support Fund and the £2 million Skills COVID-19 Recovery Fund will both be split into three separate programmes. The procurement process will secure service providers and delivery partners to deliver programmes using this funding throughout 2021. Organisations interested in delivering these programmes will need to register their interest by signing up to the Essex County Council Procurement Portal. All procurement documentation will be available on this portal from 6 January and the tender will be open for 30 days, which includes a 14 day window for clarifications from bidders. Contracts are set to be awarded in February, with delivery commencing soon afterwards.
