The Tackling Loneliness Network, formed as part of the government’s plan to tackle loneliness during coronavirus, has published ‘Emerging Together: The Tackling Loneliness Network Action Plan’, a report outlining actions its members and government are taking to tackle loneliness. The government has announced that over 840 charities, community groups and grassroots organisations have received a share of £4million to tackle loneliness. The funding is designed to help local organisations with an annual income of less than £50,000 bring people and communities together.
